01 Coverage
Four counties, four different sets of problems
An independent repair company for built-in and professional kitchen appliances across Duval, St. Johns, Clay and Nassau counties. The region is not one service area: coastal exposure, housing age and the access route to the appliance change what fails and in what order, sometimes between neighbouring ZIP codes.

02 Conditions
What the address changes about the visit
The brands are the same across all four counties and so are the faults they are capable of. What the address decides is which fault is likely, what the technician checks first, and how much of the visit is spent getting to the machine rather than fixing it.

Matthew in 2016, Irma in 2017 and Helene in 2024 each left parts of the region without power for days at a time. The work that follows a long outage rarely arrives during it: a control board or an inverter compressor that survived the loss and the restart often fails weeks later.
Built-in equipment is fitted to the millimetre. A refrigerator column comes forward on rails and carries several hundred pounds with the doors on; an integrated dishwasher cannot move until its cabinet panel does. Reaching the back of either is frequently the longest part of a visit, and it is priced in the written estimate before it starts.
Parts for built-in and professional equipment are ordered against the serial number, not the model alone: the same model built two years apart does not always take the same component. Sealed-system parts, inverter boards and steam-generator assemblies are the ones that wait. Door hardware, gaskets, thermistors and fan motors usually do not.

Our built-in in San Marco kept freezing lettuce in the crisper while the milk stayed warm. He traced it to a damper that was not closing, swapped the control, then stayed to watch a full cycle before packing up.

Hood lights worked but the fan only ran on the top setting. He traced it to a failed speed control board rather than the motor, which he said was the cheaper of the two outcomes, and had the part on the van already.

The downdraft in our island stopped pulling almost overnight and the kitchen filled with smoke every time we seared anything. He found the blower wheel packed solid with grease and a flap that had stopped opening, cleaned both and rebalanced it.
