Every ZIP code we schedule
19 ZIP codes across four counties. 6 are oceanfront or barrier-island, where airborne salt reaches fasteners, hinge pins and condenser fin stock long before anything internal fails. 6 sit in pre-war housing, where the cabinet opening and the electrical panel decide what can be fitted or taken out. The remaining 9 are later construction, and there the diagnosis starts at the appliance itself.

“Salt air” marks the barrier-island and oceanfront ZIPs, where corrosion reaches condenser fins, hinge pins and fasteners before anything internal fails. “Pre-war kitchens” marks the 1900s–1930s housing belt, where the cabinet opening and the electrical panel decide what can be fitted or removed. Everywhere else, access is ordinary and the diagnosis starts at the appliance.
Built-in equipment is fitted to the millimetre. A refrigerator column comes forward on rails and carries several hundred pounds with the doors on; an integrated dishwasher cannot move until its cabinet panel does. Reaching the back of either is frequently the longest part of a visit, and it is priced in the written estimate before it starts.

No. The bands are the same at every address in the index above — what the address changes is which fault turns up first, not what it costs to put right.

- The index on this page is the whole list — if the ZIP is in the table we schedule it, and if it is not we will say so on the phone rather than send somebody. Scheduled appointments during posted hours. We do not run an after-hours or emergency line.
- Does the address change the price?
- No. The bands are the same across the First Coast of northeast Florida. What the address changes is what fails first: On the barrier islands, salt air is the corrosion driver: condenser fins, door hinges, fasteners and stainless trim go first.
- What does a visit cost before any repair is agreed?
- $80, flat, credited in full against an approved repair. Written estimate before any work begins.
- Does the appliance have to come out of the cabinetry?
- Sometimes, and the diagnostic covers finding out — some faults are reachable from the front and some are not. Where an appliance has to come out, the removal and the reinstatement are separate lines on the written estimate, agreed before anything moves.

The rangetop works properly again after a new spark module. My complaint is that the first visit ended without a diagnosis and I paid for a second before anything moved. The technician himself was straight with me.

Damp had got into the hood switchgear and only the lights would come on. He dried and replaced the control, sealed the entry where the salt air was getting in, and told me to expect it again eventually.

The undercounter refrigerator in our outdoor kitchen had rusted at the hinges and stopped closing. He fitted new hardware, replaced the gasket and treated the fasteners. It shuts square again and stays cold.
