Customer notes
Every review published on this site, in one place — 25 of them, averaging 4.4 out of 5.

Reviews on this site are accounts customers gave us after a visit, published with a first name and last initial. The rating shown above a set of them is the average of the reviews published here, not a figure gathered from anywhere else.
Each one describes a single job: what the appliance was doing, what the technician found and how the call ended. That is deliberate — a line saying somebody was pleasant tells you nothing about whether the fault came back. The ones that are not five stars have been left in, because a page of nothing but fives tells you nothing either.
What you will not find in them is a price. Charges are set out on the pricing page and nowhere else, so there is one figure to keep current rather than 25. What we cover in the way of parts and labor afterwards is on the warranty page.

Our built-in coffee machine in Palencia kept reporting an empty tank when the tank was full. He replaced the level sensor, descaled the boiler, and walked me through the filter routine I had been skipping for years.

The range in our Jacksonville Beach kitchen would not light on the back left once the damp got into it. He dried and reseated the ignition, replaced a corroded wire, and marked the ones going next so I know what to expect.

Ice maker filled but never released, so the mould stayed full and the bin stayed empty. He warmed the harvest arm, found the motor had stalled rather than the thermostat, and left the old part on the counter for me to see.

Two burners on our Avondale range lit but would not hold a low flame. He cleaned and reset the igniters, then found a cracked spark module underneath. Simmer works on both again and the kitchen was tidier than he found it.

Our coffee unit kept reporting it needed descaling right after we had descaled it. He showed me the flow meter reading, replaced the sensor, and walked through the water hardness setting so it would stop happening.

The induction top in our St. Augustine house lost the two right-hand zones. He found a scorched connection behind the generator board, repaired the harness and tested every zone with a pan of water before writing anything up.

Ours in Fruit Cove kept stopping partway with water still standing in the tub. He found a blocked drain hose behind the cabinet, cleared it, and checked the filter housing for cracks while the machine was out. Full cycles again.

Hood lights worked but the fan only ran on the top setting. He traced it to a failed speed control board rather than the motor, which he said was the cheaper of the two outcomes, and had the part on the van already.

Our built-in in San Marco kept freezing lettuce in the crisper while the milk stayed warm. He traced it to a damper that was not closing, swapped the control, then stayed to watch a full cycle before packing up.

Our combi steam unit at Epping Forest kept tripping out mid programme. He traced it to a door switch sitting out of adjustment rather than the board two other people wanted to replace, and it has run clean ever since.

The downdraft in our island stopped pulling almost overnight and the kitchen filled with smoke every time we seared anything. He found the blower wheel packed solid with grease and a flap that had stopped opening, cleaned both and rebalanced it.

The wine unit in our Ponte Vedra Beach pantry crept up into the high fifties over a week. He found the condenser packed solid with dust and dog hair, cleaned it properly, and explained how often that needs doing near the ocean.

The dishwasher was leaving grit on everything and draining slowly here in Mandarin. He cleared the sump, changed the drain pump, and it washes properly now. Getting the booking sorted took a couple of calls, but the work was clean.

The oven in our Nocatee kitchen ran well under the dial and everything came out pale. He calibrated it, checked the door seal and changed the sensor. It bakes true now. I would have liked more explanation as he went.

Fernandina Beach house, and the refrigerator had been running warm since spring. He measured the sealed system properly instead of guessing, found a leak at a joint, repaired and recharged it. It has held steady since.

The icemaker in our Amelia Island kitchen quit twice in a month. The diagnosis was right and a new fill valve settled it, but the part had to be ordered, so what I expected to be one appointment became two.

The fridge column in our Eagle Harbor kitchen was icing along the back while the freezer column beside it was fine. He found an open heater circuit, replaced it, and checked the second column too so we would not be calling him back.

Old Riverside kitchen with almost no clearance, and the dishwasher had flooded the cabinet base. He worked it out without marking the pre-war trim, replaced the inlet valve, and dried underneath the run before refitting.

The hood over the range sounded like a bearing was going and smelled of salt. He pulled the blower, cleaned corrosion off the housing and fitted a new motor. Far quieter, and he warned me Atlantic Beach air will do it again.

The dishwasher door had started dropping open instead of holding halfway. The spring was replaced and it holds again, so the job did get done. I never got a straight answer on why the first one failed, which is what I had asked.

The freezer drawer on our Fleming Island unit was building frost across the back wall while the fresh side behaved. He showed me the defrost heater reading before and after, replaced it, and left the cabinetry as he found it.

The hood in our Marsh Landing kitchen barely pulled smoke off the range. He found the duct had been squeezed down where it crosses the joists and told me straight that a bigger blower would not fix it. Not the answer I wanted.

The griddle on our rangetop stopped heating across the left half. On the Orange Park visit he pulled it out, found a burnt connector at the element, and rebuilt that connection rather than selling me a whole new element.

Ours ran without stopping after a storm took the power out at Queens Harbour. He checked the board instead of assuming it was gone, found a failed relay, and had the cabinet holding temperature again before he left.

The steam oven in our Deerwood kitchen stopped making steam and threw a fault at start. He changed the pump and cleared the scale out of it, which sorted it. The visit landed later in the day than agreed, though he did ring ahead.
